Guess who’s back!  I’ve been out of the loop for awhile but I’m back to repay your patience with a POP MUSIC PARTY!

I’ve been pretty busy with work and other stuff but I’m back now!  I’ve also been going to concerts like crazy… I went to see Britney at the famous show in Vancouver where she walked out after 3 songs for about 30 minutes… I’ve also been to see the Ting Tings acouple weeks ago and on Friday I saw The Killers!  Now that I’m back let’s get right to the music.

All of the songs I’m posting today are upbeat fun pop tunes that are begging to be played at full blast while you dance around like no one is watching so get ready!  Some of these songs are new and some are old but all of them have been on heavy rotation in my house lately so hopefully there is something here that is new for you as well.

EMD – I’m No Romeo

One of the new tracks from the special edition of EMDs “State Of Mind” album.  It’s basically Jennie Let Me Love You pt. 2 and since I loved that track I’m also happy with this one.  It’s nothing groundbreaking but its a nice follow up to “Baby Goodbye.”

Ani Lorak – Shady Lady

Yes Eurovision 2009 is almost upon us and now is the perfect time to look back at one of the best songs of last year.  I only recently discovered the amazingness of Ani Loraks AMAZING song from last year.  And the only thing better than the song itself… is watching her perform it on stage!  If you don’t have this song in your library yet you’ve been missing out.hera1

Hera Bjork – Someday

Denmark proves that Sweden isn’t the only country that can do Schlager!  In what is probably the best schlager track of 2009 Hera Bjork belts it out with this brilliant tune.  It’s sad that she didn’t make it to Eurovision.

Mans Zelmerlow – Home

Is Mans’ new album as good as his last?  It’s a matter of opinion really, but it’s definitely not as poptastic as his debut.  That doesn’t mean it’s not worth picking up though!  ‘Home’ is my favorite but I think that’s only because the beat is very reminicent of the “Boom Boom Boom” in Alcazar – Stay The Night.darin3

Darin – Paradise

I can’t believe it took me so long to give Darins new album a chance.  It was one of those albums that just slipped past me when it was released ages ago.  I FINALLY picked it up and was SHOCKED!  It’s probably one of my favorite albums of the year and I almost didn’t even bother listening to it!  Darin for Melodifesivalen 2010!

BWO – Kings Of Tomorrow (Disco Version)

If you’re like me you’ve been on the fence about BWO lately.  Their debut album is one of the best pop albums of all time but ever since then although they have some fantastic singles and album tracks… they have just as many tracks that are rubbish.  So when I gave in and bought their newest album “Big Science” I wasn’t sure what to expect.  Well don’t take my word for it… BUY THE ALBUM!  It’s so worth it!  agnes

Agnes – Don’t Pull Your Love Out

Agnes has broken out of Sweden and is currently attempting to break the Uk with the stunning – Release Me.  Her album “Dance, Love, Pop” is a must have especially now that it’s been re-released with ‘Love, Love, Love”

Take That – Hold Up A Light

Take That have finally released The Circus album in North America and it’s about time!  Although it doesn’t matter because no one here is going to buy it since no one even knows who they are.  I’m going to go on record and say that it’s their best overall album to date.  It’s got something for everyone and all the boys take turns on lead vocals so it’s not just the Gary Barlow show.

Your Welcome :)

Happy April Fools Day everyone!  Now I was planning on writing a horrible story announcing that SVT have announced that Malena is withdrawing from Eurovision and as a result Sweden would now send Caroline Auf Ugglas – Snalla Snalla to Eurovision instead.  But the thought of that is just too horrible to bear and therefore I’ve decided that instead of an April Fools joke I will give you all an April Fools Present instead!

danny_saucedo_010

Most of you know Danny Saucedo by now and if you don’t you’ve missed out on two fantastic pop albums.  Not only is he a successful solo act but he’s also part of the biggest band in Sweden right now – E.M.D.

What I love about Danny is that despite being in E.M.D he continues to release his own material and instead of trying to be “cool” his solo material is even more poptatic than anything E.M.D release.  The album “Set Your Body Free” was released a couple months ago in Sweden but I waited to listen to it until I could buy the album.  It was actually really difficult to choose which song from the album to post because the entire album is brilliant.  If you’re looking for the next album you need to import stop looking because this is the one.  The album peaked at number 2 but his latest two singles haven’t done as well lately which is a shame.

Danny – Kiss You All Over

Danny – Turn Off The Sound
