So as a general rule I don’t think it’s a good idea to take a ballad and remix it. The results are usually messy and end up ruining a great song.
Take a fantastic song like Jordin Sparks and Chris Brown – No Air and the stakes are a lot higher. It’s one of my favorite tracks of the year and I wasn’t too impressed when I heard there was a remix.
But then I heard this! Jason Nevins hit all the right spots with this mix… he hasn’t changed the song too dramatically… just added a soft beat and makes it a bit more dramatic.
I think you’ll like this even if you don’t usually like remixes… check it out and lemme know what you think.
Jordin Sparks & Chris Brown – No Air (Jason Nevins Mix)

Ok so this song is all over the net but I’m jumping on the bandwagon here with the new single from The Saturdays. As I’ve mentioned in some of my previous posts pop music seems to be coming back. I think the typical R & B sound that has dominated the charts over the past 10 years is starting to fade and I think the kind of music that I gravitate to is starting to chart again.

If we want to hear more music like this we need to do our part and support the artists, request the songs, buy the albums and show that there is a market for good fun pop music.

One such song is The Saturdays new single – Up. It’s the perfect song to play when you’re at home getting ready to go out. It’s got a great beat and I think I like it even better than the first single.
In other news apologies for my lack of updates… but blogger seemed to be having a problem accepting some of my posts which have dissapeared?!
